Description: Flooded quarry
Depth: 3.5 metres max
Visibility: 25 metres
Marine life: Hopefully none!

Best pool in the area for training, with a depth of 3.5m. We always exclusively book the pool time, mostly on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

Dosthill Quarry

Location: Church Road, Dosthill Nr Tamworth (Link to map)
Description: Flooded quarry
Depth: 24 metres max
Visibility: 3-12 metres
Marine life: Pike, roach, perch and fresh water crayfish

Great site for training, with 6 metre platforms just below the main entry point. Toilets, canteen and small shop on site. Can get busy at weekends, but always quiet in the water.
