What do I need to start?
You need to be in reasonable health and have an appetite for adventure...
The minimum age is 10 for Discover SCUBA. But you can have a similar experience with the PADI Bubblemaker from the age of 8.
What will I do?
The PADI Discover Scuba course will give you chance to watch a video and go through some basics in a classroom followed by a short session explaining the kit. You will then spend an hour in the pool learning a few skills and enjoying your first experience of breathing underwater
How long will it take?
The course is completed over one afternoon, with at least an hour in the pool SCUBAing.
